U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Selects NetSafe™
Scott Air Force Base, Illinois -- United States Transportation
Command (USTRANSCOM) selects the Open Roads Consulting's NetSafe network
intrusion detection system to provide protection for its classified
communications infrastructure.
According to Joseph Cardyn, Director of the Integrated Security Systems
Division, "NetSafe was selected based on its unsurpassed capability to
protect our customer's critical communication assets from unauthorized
intrusion attempts. Other key factors involved in the selection
were a superior technical proposal, past performance, and ability
to meet a highly demanding schedule."
USTRANSCOM, located at Scott AFB, Ill., was established in 1987, and
is one of nine U.S. unified commands. As the single manager of America's
