Open Roads Consulting Inc. Expands Staff
CHESAPEAKE, VA -- Open Roads Consulting Inc. announced the addition of Mr. Mark Kauaihilo, to the Open Roads team. Beginning November 1st, Mark will be responsible for all field installation and engineering activities of the Integrated Security Systems Division. "Mark's expertise, proven ability and attitude makes him a great fit in our organization" stated Joseph Cardyn, Integrated Security Systems Division (ISSD) Director. "I've personally known Mark for a number of years and am extremely pleased he has decided to join us. I have always been impressed with the way he just rolls up his sleeves and dives right in to a project. It doesn't matter how complex -- he just gets the job done. He will be a good mentor to some of our younger technicians."
Open Roads Consulting Inc. welcomes Paul Hlasnicek and Gary Sickler to the technical staff. Paul is a software engineer with over 16 years of professional software and system integration experience. According to Barbara Skfffinton, president of Open Roads, "In the few months that Paul has been with Open Roads, he has taken charge of the development of the graphic user interface for the new OpenTMS Incident Detection and Management (OpenIDM) component now deployed at the VDOT Richmond Smart Traffic Center (STC) and the Staunton STC. This component ingests live Virginia State Police CAD data in the generation of the alerts, and provides comprehensive tools for an operator to manage situations."
Gary is the Open Roads on-site System Administrator for the new Staunton Smart Traffic Center under the VDOT I-81 System Integration contract. Steve Beckwith, Program Manager for the project states "Gary is a key addition to our technical staff. He has already made a significant contribution to the successful deployment of the new Staunton Smart Traffic Center." Gary previous experience includes System and Network Administration, Change Management control and LAN/WAN implementation and support.
