NetSafe Commissioned at USTRANSCOM

SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, IL -- Open Roads Consulting's Integrated Security Systems Division (ISSD) announced completion and successful testing of the NetSafe classified network intrusion detection system at USTRANSCOM facilities located at Scott AFB, Illinois. This project was completed within three months and included installation and integration of several miles of fiber optic sensors and intelligent field panels which process sensor data and transmit it to a central security monitoring station where alarm events are displayed for appropriate action by the operator. "We not only met our customer's requirements but provided a value-added, cost effective solution within a tight schedule," stated Joseph Cardyn, the ISSD Director.
