Open Roads Consulting Inc. Expands Staff

CHESAPEAKE, VA -- Open Roads Consulting Inc. announced the addition of Mr. Mike Haas, Mr. Ron Sokol, and Ms. Amy Blythe to the Open Roads team.

Mike Haas has joined Open Roads as a Project Manager. Mike's thirteen years of professional experience in technical project management, system maintenance, and all phases of the software development lifecycle - both as an engineer as well as a team leader - have well prepared him for this important position. Steve Beckwith, Vice President of Open Roads, states, "Mike's skill set and leadership abilities are a fantastic addition to our firm. We are all very excited to have Mike on board to assist us in continuing to serve our clients." Mike has a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Old Dominion University.

Ron Sokol has joined Open Roads as a System Administrator. Ron has over five years of professional experience in network and systems administration. Ron is the on-site System Administrator for the new Salem Smart Traffic Center (STC) that began 24 x 7 operations in March 2005. Barbara Skiffington, President of Open Roads, states, "Ron is another strong addition to our on-site STC staff. We are very pleased to have Ron on board to assist VDOT in the STC operations for the Salem District." Ron has a bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia.

Amy Blythe has joined Open Roads as an administrative and marketing assistant. Amy comes to Open Roads from Virginia Graphic Design, where she was responsible for marketing material production, purchasing, and quotations. Amy has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from James Madison University.
