OpenIDM™ is used to manage incidents from the time of detection until the time that the incident has been cleared. OpenIDM™ uses Traffic Sensor Stations to automatically detect abnormal traffic conditions. Incidents can be automatically entered into the system, or manually entered by the operator. With a point-and-click action, the operator can open the IDM control panel to view or edit incident information, view candidate response plans, or access available roadway devices.
