OpenLCAMS assists DOT TMC work zone management strategies of monitoring work zones, resolving conflicts, and exchanging information across organizations. The system provides a pre-emptive method for detecting conflicts and duplicate notifications and quickly provides users the information necessary to resolve the conflict. Work crews will now be able to coordinate closures across organizations and bypass the manual method of closure notification and de-confliction processes.
