Protected Distribution Systems (PDS) containing classified signal lines once were looked down upon. After all, ugly metal conduit distracted from the appearance of facilities which also had the effect of advertising their existence. NetSafe changes all of that. PDS conduit can now be safely and securely hidden from view above ceilings and behind walls. No more unsightly conduit, and no more time consuming visual inspections. Alarm Monitoring
Flexibility is just as important in the alarm annunciation as in the type of sensor employed. NetSafe integrates the Vindicator VCC Server System as the command and control platform. The system uses an innovative approach of using an MS Windows platform for integrating input and display of security data.
Unlike other systems, the VCC server system automatically processes mission critical functions within the VCC network of distributed processors, routers and servers. This unique approach delivers the mission critical functions less expensively and employs PCs as required for secondary applications such as system administration, maintenance, historical logging and graphics.
Facility Control Panels
Secure, redundant data communication network that routes data from sensors and access control locations to the VCC monitor station. Factory encryption is standard with triple DES available. Proven reliability calculated at 100,000 MTBF under MIL-STD-217. Seamlessly functions over copper as well as TCP/IP, WAN/LAN, NIPRNET, SIPRNET and JWICS.
Positive Network Denial
Regulations require immediate and positive shutdown of the affected portion of the network upon detection of an alarm event. NetSafe provides fiber optic cutoff switches that are connected to the switch ports that disrupt communication to all affected users automatically when an alarm condition has been detected. Switches are available in 10GB/s, 100GB/s, and 1000GB/s speeds.
Easily Augment Existing Security
NetSafe also will provide high quality audio that can be of assistance in assessing the nature of alarm events. Add video and a complete and immediate assessment of the scene is available to aid in dispatching a response force.
